Dr. Christina Augustine

Dr. Christina Augustine (Chris) is a proficient global HR leader with 20-plus years of experience in leading global HR in diverse industries and capacities (technology and humanitarian sectors). Currently, she leads World Vision Canada as chief people officer. Chris holds a Ph.D. in applied psychology with expertise in leading legacy and digital HR. She is an industry leader in DEIB, culture transformation, strategic leadership and operational excellence, as well as a renowned HR influencer in North America. She is a member of Forbes Human Resources Council and a Forbes Member Leader of “Gen Z in the Workplace.”

Chris has received the Strategic Leader in North America for Tackling Turnover award (2022), Asia’s Most Innovative HR Tech Leader (2018), 100 Top HR Tech Minds (2018), Most Talented HR Leader (2017), Top 25 Most Innovative HR Tech Leader (2016) in Asia Pacific HRM and a national award titled Indira Super Achiever (2008) in HR Excellence. She has been internationally recognized as chair and judge for the Stevies International Business Award and Great Employers platform. She was elected by the Canadian government for the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program in 2015. Chris is certified from NFNLP USA and as NGM@Maxis (Harvard Business School-Maxis Telecom, Malaysia). She is trained in transactional analysis from the International Transactional Analysis Association and the Adlerian approach.

Chris is a career advisor, Linkedin coach, talent strategist, HR practitioner and keynote speaker in international HR forums, government, nonprofit organizations and universities, contributing career coaching, HCM, and industrial and organizational psychology. She is a hands-on management advisor to organizations and has published several scientific papers. Chris delivers sessions through online webcasts, TV shows, social forums, workshops, print and other media. Her radio/TV shows “Kelviyum Doctorum” and “Enna Seivadhu?” are great treats. She is also interested in evangelism, youth reach, community, social/mission work, Bible exposition and blogging.
